 ​Welcome to my homepage!
​
​I am a Senior Economist at  the Bank of Spain´s DG Financial Stability, former Director of Financial Stability at CEMLA and co-founder of the Climate Financial Risk Center. I am also Co-Editor of the Latin American Journal of Central Banking  and Research Affiliate at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). In this website you can find the latest updates in my ongoing research agenda and policy initiatives.

​My fields of interest are empirical banking, macro-financial linkages and nature-related financial risks. A central focus of my recent work is supporting central banks in integrating nature-related risks into their financial stability frameworks.
